Quote: Game on. Is it an American coin? Quote: Good point. I won't withdraw it yet, as a "no" answer to jaydey's question makes it still viable.
A "yes" answer spoils a question, but I'm going with my gut here. loonielewy, you are a man of honor. No, it is not an American (I assume you mean USA) coin and it's to late to withdraw your question.

This one worked well last time. Is it from a country where, according to Wikipedia, German is "the most widely spoken and official or co-official language"? This includes, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Belgium, and Italy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_language

We could try to identify the region by North, South, East, West according to this page. Countries of Europe by RegionFor example, we could halve the options by asking if the country of issue is in Northern or Eastern Europe.

Quote: To supplement Jadey's question I will ask, was it minted before the 18th century?
(That would be the 1700s to clarify.) @Redifin Unfortunately, your clarification just muddied the waters. Its pretty clear to me you were asking if it was minted prior to 1700, but the gamemaster is asking for clarification of your clarification.

Actually, he asks if it was minted BEFORE the 18th century, then he says that would be the 1700's. It could have been minted in 400 BC and still be before the 18th century, that's why I need to know what he means. I think the best way to ask this would be to pick a date, as we have been doing.

18th century = 1700s Therefore, before the 18th century = before the 1700s. In other words pre-1700. In other words minted in 17th century or older century. What I'm asking is: was the coin minted before the year 1800?EDIT: I was very tired last night I meant 1700

What I'm asking is: was the coin minted before the year 1800? This shouldn't be this hard.

What I'm asking is: was the coin minted before the year 1800? Just me or is this two time periods? Go with "was the coin minted before the year 1800?" since that is a question?
