Hi! So I have some great BU Lincoln Cent 1988 and 89 denver mints. I am noticing A LOT of ghosting (I thought I had foregin planchets at first, then realized most of them had these markings lol). Will this ghosting affect the grade if I send them to a grading service like PCGS? ide say about 2% of the BU 88/89 do not have these etched designs that I can really only see with a microscope. Does anyone know if that affects the grade?
Btw thank you so far for everyone's contribution to qs, I feel lucky to have you guys and hope once I'm good at this I can help answer qs as well! :)
I do not think it will affect the grade, because I seen some on one of the tv coin shows that was slabbed MS and I could plainly see ghosting on the reverse. John1
