Help With 1939 Wheat Penny - Coin Community Forum

Tiff2128 Valued Member United States 70 Posts	Posted 07/09/2019 4:21 pm I have a 1939 Wheat penny that weighs 2.43g and I can't figure out why. I have checked and rechecked and weighed about another $10 in penny's on the same scale and the scale is working perfectly. I'm hoping someone might know what the cause is for the weight difference? It is still a Wheat cent, but if it were a variety is would not be worth anything other than a Wheat cent. Report this Post to the Staff
