I think you have it. If you haven't already I highly recommend that you do a little investigating on your own as well. Look at sites like Variety Vista, Coppercoins or doubledie.com to see if your markers match up. Things like die chips, mintmark placement are helpful to see if you have the real deal.

I agree, it is a tough one to detect. Good work to catch that, it is not an easy DDO to find.

The biggest clue it is not Machine Doubling? Note the contour of the affected areas. On Machine Doubling, this would be flat and affecting the normal size of the digits. This is the real deal because of the contour, the enlarging of the devices, the location and shape of the mintmark is correct and the bottom of the 'L' on Liberty. Nice find. Now did you really think it was Machine Doubling? Most of the time when we see a doubled die, we are 100% sure that is what it is. It just akes finding one to help you do the happy dance:
