Another $25 down and another 9 wheats added to the pile, along with 1 young head canadian cent and 1 type 1 King George VI cent. Even though this is a very sparse box for the east coast, I am still happy to continue to add coins to the collection. Unfortunately, I am returning the west coast and to school in two days, which means that the finds will be less frequent as well as the updates. As always, the totals are shown below.

Well, I couldn't help it. I had to pick up another $25 in pennies and got lucky with a haul of 22 wheat cents! Also, please forgive an error I made in the last two posts. I did my subtraction wrong and was 100 pennies off in the "to go" total. This mistake has now been corrected, so the information shown below is fully correct. Anyways, totals are displayed below!

Well, a sobering return to the West Coast, as $125 in pennies yielded just 30 wheats. Despite the meager results, I'll continue my search. I should be able to pick up $25 in pennies tommorow. I have $150 coming next week, so stay tuned for updates. Also, I think I'm going to open an account at Bank of America to get coins from Loomis rather than Brinks, just for a change of pace. As always, the totals are below.

Also wanted to apologize for an error from last post. I added 1 too many 40's cents to the totals, but this error has now been fixed.

Way to hang in there, Scott. To be honest, you're finding more wheats that I thought you would. That's a pleasant surprise.

Alright, this is more like it! $95 in pennies done and I could not be much happier with the results. 54 wheats in just $95 is defenitely a West Coast record for me. I am about to head down to pick up the $50 that I ordered from my other bank, so stay tuned for updates. As always, totals are shown below.

1000 WHEAT PENNIES! We finally made it! After nearly a quarter million pennies, I have finally gotten to 1000 wheat cents. I was able to pick up $30 in pennies from a different bank and, once again, the luck continued. Very happy to find 17 wheats in total. Stay tuned for more updates! Also, leave any questions you have about stuff I have found or anything you want to ask me. I am more than happy to answer them! Total are posted below.

Another $75 in pennies down and 39 wheats found, a number I'm very happy about. We're almost 1/4 of the way there, and I will do a recount and official total video when we get to 250,000 pennies searched through, which should be next week. Thanks for the support!

My eyes are sore just thinking about it. I hit burn out at approx. $3250.00 have taken a hiatus for sanity reasons. LCS has over 50,000 Wheat cents in old bank bags sitting on floor for 3 cents each have to admit my temptation to grab 10,000 of them. With this shop its old school-they have neither time nor inclination for die variety/RPM searching but the issue is "have they been scrutinized" good luck on the roll searching don't forget those 1988 cents with reverse of 1989 their out there and frequently missed.
