This counterfeit UK one pound coin stokes my curiosity. Considering the costs to manufacture such fakes, there is not much to profit by producing these unless a person could pass MANY of these off. And the penalties for getting caught are exponentially higher than the slight financial gain from perpetrating the ruse.
