The email I received today from the Mint states there will be 100 signed COA's randomly distributed inside the packaging. As if this release isn't going to be crazy enough as it is.

^ A lottery within a lottery. It's quite funny really when you think that not a single ATB P release had and will have a mintage of 30k with little interest from collectors (granted, some have gained in value but only because the US Mint suddenly decided to stop minting them). Here, we're having yet another ASE that only differs in one letter on the reverse compared to one released earlier this year and some people are willing to pay probably in excess of 10x issue price to get hold of it. Crazy world we're living in.

I just want one for my collection and do not plan on selling it. But it will probably sell out in 5 minutes or less. I hope I get one. I am not paying an astronomical aftermarket price just to get one.

Quote: I just want one for my collection and do not plan on selling it. Likewise, although I try to collect 2 of each ASE these days (one for CAPS album and one to stay in OGP). If I get two, great. If only one, just as great. Quote: But it will probably sell out in 5 minutes or less. Agree. Quote: I hope I get one. Likewise.

Quote: At those prices, it might be worthwhile for dealers at the Baltimore Whitman show (first day of the show is Nov 14th, same as the release date) to stand in line at the Mint's booth I wonder how many, if any, will be allocated for this coin show. Wouldn't be surprised if people start camping out in line like they do on black Friday. Didn't the Mint experience a chaotic event when they released a special ASE set some years back?

I'm ready. Have my account created! My CC ready and added it to my calendar! If I get 1 or 2 I'm good, if I don't I'm also good.

Quote: I think that he's referring to the release of the gold Yup that's it. Thought it was an ASE release. Either way I can see something like that happening if they sell any at the coin show happening the same day.
