As for slabbing the coin with NGC etc, I currently have a Byzantine Gold I am having them do this to if they think it is probably real as I have no hope I selling it for a decent price otherwise and people trusting me as I have a lifetime guarantee and they will just send it off anyway and get the money back if not real, so in that case I am doing a slab / authenticate. But I sell estates and slabbed ancient bronzes that are obviously real I have sold a lot of with the NGC case and some sold as low as $30 for a coin worth unslabbed about $20. So I decided long ago with the high cost to get the work done and no real return for my money I just sell coins slabbed if they came to me slabbed and I offer about $5-$10 more than the coin price I'd normally give for the unslabbed coin.
