I have the following 1964 D Lincoln, technically the mint mark is in the proper area but it is "almost" touching the date. Error or nor? Any value?

Nice find!

I save my coins with MM touching date... as I don't find them too often.

But as far as a worth or premium, I have no idea?

Although, I am sure there are others with these in their collections. So I would think they are somewhat collectible

Within mint tolerance,no added value. But I would keep it anyway.

You can and should edit your post title and original post... to say '64 D.

MM's were punched by hand back then, so they can be all over the place. This is an outlier - who knows, there may be collectors of these.

it would be considered a very minor variety and it is not likely to garner much if sold. Certainly a neat find to save, however.
