If I'm thinking correctly, they would reject it as "Not Genuine" and it wouldn't be slabbed, but it will still cost the same. muddyknuckles Valued Member United States 272 Posts	Posted 10/05/2019 10:14 am Just because its impossibly unlikely your nickel is silver doesn't mean there isn't a one in a million chance it is. Proper tests would need to be preformed to determine composition. Stranger things have happened at the mints...if it can happen it seems to. Not my coin but just showing it has happened with a dime and could have been struck on a quarter planchet. Report this Post to the Staff
