coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/01/2019 7:09 pm Note the areas you are looking at. All the reduced areas on the outside of the design. That is where Machine Doubling happens after the strike on the coin. Note the image on the right? That is a doubled die. It is called a doubled die as the devices are doubled on the die. On your coin, the die was normal. After the strike the machine movement of the dies, damages the coins devices. Report this Post to the Staff
