I have recently began searching through my coins and seeing what it is that I might find. To me, it is a fun hobby, doesn't cost much and if I ever do run across something, I know that I will be as happy as a lark in a tree.
My coin collecting actually started a few years back when I came across two Mercury dimes; one from 1944 and one from 1945. I decided to keep them and add them to my buffalo head nickel. Now, I just want to see where things go and have fun doing so

Hello I'm extremely new to coin collecting and I have been able to find alot of older coins but I still have not found a coin of any good value. But I don't know what to look for when I am searching my pocket change. I do know that extra metal on the coin is Cud if I am correct but I don't understand what the difference is about a mint error or die crack but I can say that I love to look at all slight changes in the coins that I have collected
