(The things I have to go through to have fun with a hobby ...) Tell you what. Here's a description of coins from a 2007 issue from this entity (and I happen to have a set of these beautiful coins): "A Hammerhead shark is on the bi-metallic 200 Pesos. A Vaka, a double hulled, masted canoe, is on the eleven-sided copper 100 Pesos. A Moray Eel is on the copper 50 Pesos. Tangata Manu, the Birdman, is on the eleven-sided brass 10 Pesos. A Forceps Fish is on the brass 5 Pesos. A Bonito Fish is on the nickel-plated brass 1 Peso." If Google is your friend, too, you should at least be able to track down the origin of our current coin, if not the denomination and composition. Report this Post to the Staff
