Cool barracuda coin! At first glance, I knew it had to be BVI, Bermuda or Bahamas.

The BVI minted a special fish set of coin and stamps in 1985. Only limited quantities were minted. If anyone could quote me exact mintage numbers on the non-silver proof set I'd appreciate it.
COINAHOLIC is right. Next...

A bit of googling the contents on the coat of arms reveals it's the coat of arms of the Isle of Wight, England... They don't make their own coins. Someone has, however, made "coins" in their name: WCG has this one on file, a 2 pounds / 3 ecs dated 1996. There are many more types, listed in the Krause "Unusual World Coins" - about 30 all up, all with this same obverse design. I think we're supposed to stick with "real coins", that you'd find in the regular Krauses.

I think we're supposed to stick with "real coins", that you'd find in the regular Krauses. You're quite right.. and I didn't realize they weren't real. So you got the next one either way - you guessed the coin, plus called me on putting up an incorrect type! So, I'll sit here with the big "L" on my forehead , humbly eat my popcorn , and wait for your next coin!

OK. I don't think we've had one like this here yet...
