I would like to know if this coin has a chance of getting the TPG's FB designation.

The first part of this inquiry shows the lower part of the bands. There are a couple of areas that have me concerned:

1. the left leaning scratch on the left part and

2. the right leaning scratch on the lower band also near the left side

If any of these dings would kill the FB designation, please let me know why.

The second part of the inquiry has to do with the upper bands; the far right top and bottom appear to have received a 'flattened' hit of equal dimensions.

I need to know if and why this would be a deal breaker for the FB label.

Check on PCGS to see what value a FSB would be? Then see if it sells on auction? It maybe not worth the effort. The Mercury dimes seem to have more interest. There were less of these. To me the Roseys' seem to be more common? (Creating less demand) thus the winners for these might be the grading companies. IMOHO

OK just remember to check PCGS for prices on these:
MS-67..$1750.00
MS-66......$30.00
MS-65......$16.00
Nothing less than MS-65 listed.

So unless it is MS-67 or higher, then it would be at a loss to have it graded.
