Hey everyone here is a 1984 D Lincoln Cent. This one struck me as odd and want to see what you think. To me it looks like a piece of his ear is missing. Just looking for second opinion

Coin contact. Not a doubled ear. A doubled ear is not incuse, but raised. Your coin show in indent on the lobe. All the doubled ears are raised take a look:

99% of contact marks on a coin are coin damage. Just 1% are not damage but an error. Yours is one of the 99%. Sorry

The faces are where I have the most trouble, especially on worn, older coins.
