I believe I found a 1982 d small date cent copper planchent wit weighs 3.10 g advice please

The distinguishing feature of the small date variety is a slight curve on the center part of the "2", just above where it joins the base.

So question is the weight and the fact that it's a 1982 still nothing .. was it punched on the wrong planchent

They made 1982 D cents on both copper and zinc plated planchets, so the weight and the shape of the "2" means this is the very common copper large date variety.
