I would like to see other examples of BIE one cent coins other than BIE. Interesting, I never heard that.

Great find! I have a ton of "BIES", including on old and newer modern coins. Here's one from 1983 that I found CRH. The die that struck this coin ended up chipping in Mid Die State. http://goccf.com/t/351208
