Quote: I found a bent 1969 Canadian dime in a Coin Star reject slot yesterday. Bent, not broken. Fun find!

I will be going on vacation up North in Hayward, WI; I will try to get some more coins up there from stores, and may also visit some coin shops.

I am back from vacation; I got around $30 in quarters from the lodge, and found a 1999-S proof quarter, and I also for the first time went bank hopping; I stopped at two banks, one gave me a roll of halves, and the other one could not sell coin to me they said; the halves only had one keeper, a half dollar from my birth year (1999; same as the quarter also). It was fun!

I found this IHC in one of the rolls in the box I have been saving rolls in. I also posted this find in the cent thread. It is an amazing find; I am very happy with this find.

Excellent find from a bank roll! I'm still looking for that first IHC.

I think that in all of the cents I have searched (which has been a lot), I have only found five IHC's in my life (I am only 22 years old though). I hope that you find one also, they are cool coins.

I also am going to start searching paper money more (like for consecutive bills) because of the coin shortage.

I went to the bank first, and got 2 rolls of coins (a cent roll and a nickel roll), then I went to the pharmacy, and got four quarters for a dollar, and then I went to the gas station and got two rolls of dimes, one roll of nickels, and Two Cent rolls. I also got a decent star note from the bank. At the bank, I dumped around $10 in copper cents, just to release into circulation for other CRHers to find. I will be opening the rolls later. I am glad that I was able to get some coins today.

Man, you are working it hard, hitting all the places! It stinks that the banks are being tough for you right now. Hope you find some good stuff!

If there is anything I can help you with the consecutive bills, I would be happy to help you. Also a friend of mine works at the gas station, and he saves me rarer coins that come through also.
