I got some coins ($50 in dimes, $100 in quarters, and $2.50 in cents, along with three Eisenhower dollars) from my bank; I kept the three Eisenhower dollars. I also found 2 silver dimes (a 1957 and a 1964) out of only $50 in dimes, which was very good. No W's or silver in the quarters; also I have not searched the cents yet. Today, I got two more rolls of quarters ($20), and $1 in cents from the gas station; one of the cent rolls has a Wheat cent ender. I have been super busy with school recently, that is why I have not posted for a while.

Before I dump the quarters, I want to look at the dates and mint marks, to see which mint mark seems the most rare.

Quote: It was really nice of the teller, as she had saved the Eisenhower dollars for me. Quote: Before I dump the quarters, I want to look at the dates and mint marks, to see which mint mark seems the most rare. Looking forward to your report.

I will be going to the bank today to get more coins; I will be getting cents, and probably some dimes and quarters; that way, I can add more quarters to the bunch for the mint mark experiment (which mint mark is the most rare). I may also do it with dimes, though looking at dime mint marks is hard on the eyes, as they are smaller coins.

I will also be doing the mint mark experiment on cents also, I have around five or six boxes of rolled cents I need to go through, plus what I will be picking up today. I will also go through some loose cents that I already have to look at the mint marks.

For my birthday and Christmas, I asked my parents for $500 in cents (I said that it would be easiest to order two boxes a week until the $ amount reaches $500 or however much they want to give me). Last year, I got over $1,000 in coins for my birthday and Christmas. My mom said that she will surprise me Christmas morning, so hopefully I may be getting $500 in cents sometime.

I found a 1964 silver quarter in $100 in quarters; I am in disbelief, it has been years since I have found one. I also got a bunch of other coins, I will soon report on those finds also.

At my school, I looked through a bunch of cents, and the Philadelphia mint mark seems to be rarer than Denver.
