Quote: I filled a lot of holes in my two half dollar folders. I also found two NIFC's, a 2004 and a 2008. Outstanding! Quote: No silver yet, but hopefully in the $500 box I will find some silver. Good luck!

I got the box of halves, I am going to be searching it over the week. It is a brinks box. First I will look for silver, than I will look for halves for my folders. I also plan on ordering more folders for the halves, so I will put some nicer clad halves aside for the future folders.

There was no silver in the box. I pulled out a lot of bicentennial halves for a friend though. It was still fun to open all of the rolls.

I have been picking up rolls of coins/loose coins at gas stations and stores. I also am going to the bank this week, I was not able to go last week, as I was super busy. It is very easy at gas stations to get four quarters for a dollar by just saying "I need these for the vacuum". Most of the time, I just ask for four quarters at random gas stations, and they give them to me without questions. I always use $1 bills to trade for quarters. I always hope to find a W or a silver quarter this way. I also still have a lot of coins around my room that I need to look through. I will post more once I search those rolls and loose change.

I found a dateless Buffalo nickel yesterday. I still have more nickels to search, so hopefully I will find more. I also have more cents to search.

I got some more cents and nickels from the bank. So far, I have found two World War 2 nickels, and some pre-1960's. I also kept some 2004-2005 nickels to try and sell in the garage sale (we are having a garage sale next week, and I am selling some coins in it). I figure I will price the 2004-2005 nickels at 7 cents each, and hopefully make a small profit on them. To me, every cent counts. I will also sell the silver nickels and the pre-1960's. I will sell the silver based on the current silver prices of the day of the garage sale. Next week, I need to get more 1's and some quarters for the garage sale. I will search the 1's and the quarters first though.

I sold a bunch of clad halves and regular small dollar coins, and actually made a profit! I sold the clad halves (from 1971-1999) for 60 cents each. I also sold some small dollar coins for a $1.10 each. I was very surprised people would pay above face value for them. I also sold a few rarer coins. I made $277 altogether. My mom made a lot more than that with her antiques. I am just happy to make any money.
