tencentpenny Pillar of the Community United States 795 Posts	Posted 08/29/2023 8:35 pm I went to the bank today, and got 23 Ike dollars that they said a customer had dumped there yesterday. I also got two small dollar coins to make it an even $25. I also got a box of cents. I used a $50 bill to get those coins. It was pretty cool. Report this Post to the Staff

tencentpenny Pillar of the Community United States 795 Posts	Posted 09/01/2023 11:06 pm I brought the box of cents to my school where I currently attend, and opened some rolls. I so far have found: 3 wheat cents, some pre-1970 cents (I am starting to save coins from the 1960s, I actually just got one from a gas station in Illinois, a 1967 cent), a few nicer 1970s cents, a cent with a mason symbol stamped into it, a 1979 Canadian penny, and some 2009's. I still have many coins to search, so I will be quite busy. Report this Post to the Staff

tencentpenny Pillar of the Community United States 795 Posts	Posted 09/26/2023 6:34 pm I went to Michigan recently on vacation, and at a CoinStar there, I found 3 cents on the CoinStar and two dimes on the floor. Today a teacher at my school found a quarter at the CoinStar, and gave it to me. Another teacher at my school gave me a Canadian penny that she got in change at Pick N' Save. There is a manager at my local Pick N' Save who will give me 2 free rolls of cents sometimes, and other times I buy cents from her. There are some wonderful people in my town. Also outside my town there are wonderful people, as I go to school 45 minutes away from where I live, and there are very nice people there. Report this Post to the Staff
