Last September I bought this 1926-D SLQ at the Long Beach show. I noticed the holder was a little scuffed up but due to my poor eyesight (cataracts), I was unable to examine it well.
I'm really not familiar with die cracks and such, but the other day I put it under the microscope and saw what appears to me to be a die crack running from just to the left of Liberty's head through the E and R of liberty.
Am I seeing things or is this really a die crack. These definitely don't appear to be scuff marks on the holder.

Same die cracks , same flatness to the head. Same die state!

Pacificoin, I saw your listing on ebay and you're right. Your quarter and mine are spittin' images of each other.
