Jefferson Nickel Lines Above Monticello Door

axsprog New Member United States 14 Posts	Posted 12/31/2019 11:03 am Am I missing something? Most Nickels old and new have two "line" abbove the doorway in Monticello. One line formed by the bottom of the triangle or pyramid and the other line formed by top of the door way (the header so to speak) But I have been putting aside for a few years ones with three lines. Its spoiradic and I do not see a pattern other than I have nickels from the same dates with both displays. can someone explain? Report this Post to the Staff

The reverse of the most recent Jefferson nickels minted has a lot of detail while it is less raised than in the past. Report this Post to the Staff
