I thought this was a pretty shiny dime. too bad it's got issues. I want to understand the issues...
Is it grease firstly?
the design is still there...just...murky= which is why I'm guessing grease...am I correct?

This coin appears to be altered. The scratches on the coin were added after the strike. Note the rim is missing. The reverse looks like something was added to the coin. (Glue possibly?) Not a mint error. PSD.

ok. crazy. I thought I was on to figuring out something new. read your graphic on grease fills and knew it mustn't be that because the devices widths weren't altered....
