Probably, the law allows for them and do you think the Mint would miss the chance to wring a little more money out of the collector?

But they may not sell them until next year. Probably by the end of February.

I can wait, or at least my budget can.

Images of the coin have been posted on the product page for the rolls, bags, and boxes.

I think they did a good job of translating the line drawing into a computer image of the struck coin, although time will tell when we see photos of the coin in hand.

Mintage limits have been posted for each of the individual products (rolls, bags, and boxes), although curiously all of the mintages are different while the product limit says "none". I'm wondering if that's an error, because the coins are the same but the products are not.

After reading all these posts, why do I think the mint is in competition with the USPS... Coins vs. Stamps!

My overall thought!

Conder101, they're talking about a proof version, not the circulation strikes.

Is the mint planning on releasing a proof version, or are they only making circulation coins?

I am sure the Presidential $1 Coin & First Spouse Medal Set will have a regular or reverse proof dollar in it.

I sure wish it was going to be a Coin & Chronicles set, but that doesn't seem likely at this point. Probably won't get a PNC either.

True. Big difference from a C&C set is it seems to be lacking a nice hunk of silver.

There is a C&C set on the product schedule for next year, but nothing at this time for a PNC.

Bret, I was using PNC for philatelic/numismatic cover. Also for Eagle4life the Coin and chronicles set lists mints as P and S, so I'm guessing a P mint Barbara Bush medal and an S mint GHWB proof dollar coin.
