Here is a lovely set of 6 from Auma: The pieces depict local scanes with a figure 'working industriously' and another ' tending the land'. This was a time when the German people needed to be pulling together to make their lives much better.

The pieces from the 'normal' set catalogue at 1 or 2 euros each (depending on slight differences). The pieces with OVPs though are much scarcer and are worth between 50 - 100 euros each.

Here is a pack of 100 x 1m notgeld pieces from Solnhofen: All the serial numbers are consecutive, as one might expect. I checked through them all, hoping to find a piece without a serial number...........but it wasn't to be......what a pity! Sometimes that could happen where 2 pieces were stuck together when they went through the numerator machine. This is something a notgeld collector is always on the lookout for.....a piece without serial number (where there should be one)! (Some issues had no serial numbers, so you need to be aware of that.)

This is a lovely colourful set of 6 from Frankenhausen: There are several silhouette sets like this for the notgeld collector to obtain. I'll add a few here in the next couple of postings......
