Here is another beautifully coloured set from Altenkirchen. The 50pf note depicts how Germany will become great again through industry and farming the land:

Industry and farming are often portrayed on notgeld, so they are good topics to choose for collecting themes.
One could also collect themes like castles, knights, military, animals, witches, devil, fairytale, food shortage etc etc. #128076;

Here is a nice note from Bremervoerde. A 50pf that could be split in half to make 2 x 25pf. Both halves would have the same serial number.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like that. Very cool.

Good to know. Unless they kept shears handy, I have to wonder if the non-perforated ones often met their end on the sharp edge of a countertop.

....yes, possibly.......or even just roughly folded in half and torn. Who knows?
The half portioned single pieces that I have seen have always looked like they had been cut by scissors.

Very interesting. I assume an intact pair would be worth more that two separated halves, so I further assume these cuts were performed back in day. Nice to think that people planned ahead.

An intact or complete note is always wanted. Not sure if a single portion would even be collected.......unless the whole note was scarce......but most of these types are 'common' in notgeld terms
