Quote: Here is another 'true' set with all pieces having the same serial number, along with the presentation envelope. These silhoette types are wonderful: Excellent!

This small sized piece (25mm x 48mm) issued on green card, arrived here today. It was issued by the Magdeburg 'Konsumverein' (Consumer cooperative - co-op) and it has a face value of 2 pfennig. It is uniface and assigned as a 'Wechselgeld' (change stamp) and it catalogues as a verkehrsausgaben notgeld, undated but dating from around 1920. Uncommon, it has a catalogue value (market value) of 15 euros. There are notgeld that look like banknotes, vouchers, stamps and tickets. This piece reminds me of the old cinema tickets I used to see:

Here is a very nice specimen note that just arrived here. It was issued in Essen by the famous cast-steel factory company 'Friedrich Krupp A.G.'

A Happy New Year for 2025 to everyone. Here is my latest notgeld addition, a hyper-inflationary note from Strausberg. Originally issued with a face value of 20000 mark, it has later been revalued / overprinted (OVP) to 25 milliarden mark (25,000,000,000m)

Here is another notgeld from Bielefeld, this time an 'Inflation 1923' issue and made from paper (normal). This one here, has the hole-punch cancellation across it but the note also has a raised stamp mark of an eagle..... .

Hi @Lucidfind - Your hyper-inflationary notgeld was issued in Wuerzburg, by the city administrators / Stadtrat / Townhall.

Hi @Pertinax - I only know the basics of the notgeld 'laws' with most of them trying to stop their issuance. Most 'bodies' just jumped on the bandwagon because there wasn't enough money in the economy. The Reichsdruckerei couldn't print enough money or quick enough so even some of the notgeld printing companies were asked to print Reichsbanknotes on their behalf. One can see those notrs nowadays because of the different serial number codes. Hope that helps.....
