Nice find @john1--very dramatic. I don't see how this couldn't be struck through.

Incredible find John1! It will have a nice big premium, since the struck through cloth errors are very rare and hard to find.

What a stellar find! Totally worth a trip to a TPG in my opinion, just cause it's such a rare and amazing error. Just Wow!

Wow! That's a stunner! How in the world did this one roam in the wild unnoticed? It definitely looks like a shop rag. Try adjusting the photo by reducing light. Then enlarge the photo on the computer and stand back from the monitor. The last two digits of the date look rounded. It sure does look like a '60s coin.

Very nice find! This type of struck through is extremely rare. I wouldn't be surprised if you are able to sell that for a lot more than your estimate.

The last digit looks to me to be either a 2 or 3. My first thought on value was your higher estimate would be a good starting point for auction but I'll yield to tanman.
oops; I almost forgot. Great find.

My guess: 1969-D if the roof is floating the the 'FG' is missing.

Congrats John1 Struck through cloth is probably the best kind of struck through there is New to errors, but I guess it would go for more than $80.

Roof is "fully" attached and the FG is a little weak because of the struck through. John1

Extra nice example, $50 wouldn't surprise me!
