Here's the mate with the 5 ounces sorry I cant show you his face O.K. he's a dentist   and as you can see by the date this find was almost six years ago oh he still has the nugget regards Harry

That is awesome. I gotta get a metal detector. Sounds like lots of fun. Doubt I will find gold nuggets in Oklahoma, lol, but just the looking part of it has to be exciting but the finding part, no matter how small, has to be the best aspect of it.

If that nugget doesn't give you the fever you will never get it. I will probably never find anything like that, but it's great to look at.

He was using a Minelab G.P. with a 24 inch DD head he also said both nuggets came from under what we call the concrete which is a layer of stone cemented together like concrete these were also published regards Harry

O.K. better post a few more Victorian gold finds these nuggets come from in and around the Golden Triangle these are my mate's happy snaps found with a Minelab GP 4500  more to come

Just something I forgot to add,when the fossicker found the 43 ozs he told me that there was a hole already dug to the concrete and whom ever dug it gave up  unwritten law is "dig every signal" what more could I say regards Harry Oh and P.S. the mate sent me a photo of a flint lock pistol he found two weeks ago in the triangle
