My computer went down whilst I was in hospital with a broken left leg and yes I was in an accident on Dec 8th last year (this happened when I tried to be a good samaritan ), I broke the steel prosthesis off the hip and where it joined the fema as well (so it fell out in the surgeon's hands), so now I have a replacement hip that go's from the hip to the knee and a very nasty scar to go with it. Anyway I'm back also I'll try to post those photo's

Nugget: sorry to hear about your misfortune. I assumed (hoped) you were quiet because you were out chasing "the big one", but I'm glad to hear that you are on the mend.

I'm glad to hear the good news.
My own experience is that it's best not to rush your recuperation. And yours sounds like a very complicated fracture ...

Peter they stuck the splintered bone to the new steel insert and in the last x ray it was healing so fancy that LOL now I have a screw from the cup into the hip that I didn't have before,a piece of steel running down the centre of the bone to the knee and a plate (that runs on the out side of the femur from knee to top of hip and) this is also something that I didn't have before
