Yes it was found metal detecting last week outside of Bristol Pa.

S-20 is a possibility.
Leaf down is S-20a. R-8 (per Breen)
Leaf up is S-20. R-4

Here is a picture of the two different edges found on 1794 cents with heads of 1793. The OP coin appears to have an edge of 1794.  |

Wow that is some exciting news for me! I sure appreciate the information and if any of you have any more please share.... I have never sent in a coin ... should I send this To PCGS will they even look at it?

Haven't determined the variety, but it isn't a head of 93, and the leaf is pointing up not down.

Conder101 ... it's been verified by a dealer I took it to this morning now... it's def a 1794 w/ 93 head Germanicvs was right on target ...there are 2 leaf varieties the 93 head the R8 is pointing up the R4 is pointing down... so it's Sheldon S-20b R4
