Bidding on this rare 40K coin will test your risk level as the seller has zero feedback and been an ebay member 1 day. Interesting that NGC does not have a photo for this coin. See link below:

I wouldn't buy anything over $100 on ebay, unless it was 100% independently verifiable, before or after purchase.

Numismatic items at this value level are normally offered by numismatic professionals anyway, and almost never offered on ebay.

For this item, thank God I live in Australia!

No return privileges! Run from this one, verifiable or not.

Doesn't have a photo because that is an older slab from back before they started imaging every coin they graded.

They are also selling a .92 carat Tiffany diamond ring, and a 1919 50c MS66+ CAC sold on Heritage August 2019 for $21,600. On the latter, the coin matches and the images appear to be the sellers. Divorce? Death? Theft? Just cashing out? On ebay for two days with 100k worth of goods is certainly odd.

Hopefully Bobby can get these knocked down, the old stolen pictures scam is alive and well.

I have communicated with the seller in the links posted by @Yokuzuna who says "I am contacting ebay today about it. He most certainly does not have the coins. Thank you". The seller with the stolen images claims to have the coins too, and when I challenged them to post an image of the coin in their hand, became threatening.
