This has been a favorite of mine as I have found at least 6 different dies for the obverse plus one text change which reads GREEN RIVER WHISKEYS. I haven't had the time or temperment to photograph and identify all the different pairings yet.
I found a post online that perhaps a dozen exist.
It appears to be a rather common medal, a Green River ebay search will pull up many.
Yep there were thousands made I have a couple if it was said on the bay somebody was just trying to inflate the price. one came out of the bargain bin and the others were in a bulk buy

I note with interest the spelling "whiskey". Here in the UK a general convention ( not universal ) is that "whiskey" is Irish but "whisky" is Scots. I have seen "whisky" used by US sources. Do the different spellings have a significance in the US?
