I'm not going to celebrate just yet... BUT the 1858 is out for delivery!! Seems too good to be true. I'll let you know if it actually comes in. I do have to say that the VAST MAJORITY of sellers are just awesome!!

Fingers crossed! Are you planning to show off the finished? album? From photos earlier it looks mostly complete with the exceptions you mentioned.

Thanks All! I was getting frustrated with all the shipping issues but everything turned out right (well I still don't have my money from the first 1858, but there is claim opened already), I'm happy I was bullied into completing this set. I would never complete the US Large Cents so completing the Canadian series is as good :)

It depends really. If you're like me and finding anything above say F-12 is good enough, it can be pretty inexpensive (unless you shop for varieties, then the price skyrockets). I've filled about 2/3 of the silver 5 cents in my album for around 150 dollars which is respectable for a low mintage series. 1884 and 1875 however... that I could understand would get very pricey very fast. They're still unique and worth a shot in my opinion!

Nickel dollars would be a cheap and easy set to complete (1968-1986).... just sayin'
