rotten tooten 55 New Member United States 19 Posts	Posted 03/14/2020 12:55 pm I have a number of coins I have had for sometime and just don't no for sure if they are what I want them to be or not lol . I am posting some pictures of a few let me know what you think . I think the 1888 is a 8/7 the 1861 rpd the 2 1960 d sml /lg and the screw coin not a clue found this coin while looking under magnification saw this so I took this picture the coin is damaged but it looks like a screw to me can any one explain ? thanks Edited by rotten tooten 55 03/14/2020 2:32 pm Report this Post to the Staff

With regard to the coin with that odd "screw" feature, it looks to me like a series of gouges, with one larger one and then some chatter after that coin took the initial hit. I don't think it is a strike-through or any sort of mint error.
