So, what is the difference between the Silver Proof Set and the Limited Edition Silver Proof Set? Packaging? Commemorative included? ASE?

LESPS includes an ASE and by default different packaging.

Quote: So, what is the difference between the Silver Proof Set and the Limited Edition Silver Proof Set? The silver proof set is a proof set with silver versions of coins, for those historically made from silver. The LESPS is a silver coin set that includes the yearly regular-issue proof silver offerings. Both include the silver dime, quarter(s), and half dollar. However the former includes the cent, nickel, and small dollar(s), while the latter includes an ASE.

It's also cheaper to buy a silver proof set and an ASE than the LESPS. Last year would've saved roughly $40. And you get more coins.

Only time I bought the LESPS was 2017 when the silver eagle was the S mint mark where it was only otherwise offered in the Congrats set. I would consider purchasing that in lieu of the ASE and proof set separately if the price was about equal since the packaging is nice, but as stated earlier, it's not worth the extra money.
