Here I have a 1985-p quarter and there is fading on the obverse side LIBERTY and even more telling on the Reverse in the same spot as the obverse QUARTER DOLLAR and maybe the community can see or tell what this is or anything else about this coin thank you.

It's really not worth keeping. As John1 noted, it may be a slight grease filled strike. It also looks like it may be some vending damage.
