From the pictures only, it looks quite OK, but
if wish to investigate further, check it very accurately for weight, to nearest 100th of a gram.

Agree, looks genuine but harshly cleaned, and the weight would certainly help.

The coin appears genuine. It is a type 1 obverse and reverse with a large S mint mark that were all used for the date.

funny question,the coin looks like it could have been whizzed. If this coin became a pocket piece would it diminish that look over time? I guess to make it look less cleaned and hairlined.

Looks real, but harshly cleaned. Using it as a pocket piece might help a little but, but you'll reduce the coin's grade in the process. Unfortunately, this will always be a details coin.

Looks good to me, but any TPG would slab it as a "Genuine" grade more then likely...or details for sure. |
