I received some information that this coin may be an Indo-Shytian imitation of a Bactrian coin, Eucratides I,The Great.
What do you think of that?

@Bob L I also found it very doubtful to be Indo-Shytian.
If it is Dionysus, do you believe it is which coin? It might look like a nymph head to me.

The reverse of your coin would have to be a double cornucopia to match the one at the first link. While I cannot make out the imagery on your coin, I see no way it fits the double cornucopia motif. Do you?
The Aretas IV token in the second link is made of lead. It is not a match for a bronze coin.

Dear Bob L. This hypothesis is that the bust inside the rim would indicate to be Nabataean. But it's not the ones in the link, and I don't see the double cornucopia.
In your opinion what coin would it be?

 If the reverse were clearer, I suspect we could ID it - assuming it's been published. But there's a possibility that it is unpublished. |

It's funny how your eyes play tricks when you stare at an object long enough. My eyes aren't the best, what I see looks like an Eagle or Griffin facing left.

If it's: Dionysus on the right / Centaur (Chiron) standing left.
Would you know how to say any currency that fits?
