With the $10, I have the set that I wanted, which includes a $5, $10 and $20. And while the $50 and $100 are in my budget range, there a few more notes that are higher priority. I may eventually get the $50 and $100, but those are long term goals (that is if I added to my list )

Nice $10 @hfjacinto. It's a bit confusing because your notes says National Currency at the top, but it's considered a Federal Reserve Bank Note or FRBN by collectors and not National currency.

Thanks @Steve-o! I updated the post. You are correct, I was actually getting my book to make sure I had the right name.

Great pickups. They actually look a lot like mine. The price-to-eye appeal at this level is just right for me. I don't like paying double for slightly prettier notes, but uglier notes aren't appealing to me. Obviously, everyone has a different balancing point.

We could do a whole thread on single origin varietels but that's for a different forum). I agree, the VF range seems to be the sweet spot in looks/cost.

Next up is the $1 North Africa Note. I enjoy collecting because of the history. This series is one of the small notes that has a lot of history. The NA series, the Hawaii notes also the Steel Wheat Cents, all from a time of profound change in America.

And with the $1 note, I have the 3 NA notes. Currently my favorite of the small sized notes. I just wished that the $1 also had the blue and gold.

I like your sense of urgency. I think you've officially purchased more notes in the last two months than I have in the past 5 years. Maybe I need to step up.

Next up is a $1 silver certificate :) Love them large size notes. Although these are kind of boring, limited decoration on the reverse. Always wonder what the history was, what was it spent on, who had it, when was the note stored. Who owned it before me and who will own it after me.. I'm its temporary keeper.

Over 2.6 BILLION of this design printed, remarkable even by today's standards nearly a hundred years later.
