@barryg
Unbelievably beautiful walker! Congrats on an amazing purchase.

I could not vote. The way I approach any hobby precludes "pain."

If there is something I want, I work out trades/deals/sales/etc. to obtain that item. It may take awhile sometimes, but I find pursuit/desire is fun.

I have never put a cent into any of my hobbies that was not obtained from wheeling and dealing in the hobby itself.

When it comes time to actually purchase, the cash in hand is the enjoyment I had in finding inventive ways to reach the goal. I don't know how else to say or explain the concept other than to say the actual "output" to me is not "money," and the fun I had getting to that point certainly means there was no pain. When looking at my collection it also is rewarding to know what I see has more than just money taken from a paycheck behind it. I am thankful I have the time to approach hobbies in this manner.
