The reeding tells the story... partial collars are more subtle on 1 and 5 cent coins with the plain rim. These are not overly common in higher denominations. They are most common on one cent coins, with the term "railroad rims" - all I have seen are from 1961-1964. You do see them on 10c coins, more commonly the silver coins from the 1960s that are also struck off-centre.
I have only seen a small handful with 25c coins, none with 50c coins, and only one nickel dollar (see link).
