have a 1957 Wheat penny thats has a silver color. what happen to it and is it a good find? coin is in bad condition.any advise on what to do if a good find.

The lighting is a bit strange but no the coin looks very much damaged.

My guess is that this cent has been plated. No added premium, but most wheaties sell for about 3 cents each, just because they are wheaties.

Agree. Likely plated in the past. Photos, although moderate in size, appear to be low resolution--which often causes a soft, liquid-like appearance. Coin is worth about 3-4 cents.
