Hi everyone,

The ear is very noticeable without a loop, has all of the markers but the shape is like a thick outline. Would appreciate your opinion. Also, I have been reluctant to post pictures of a double eye nickel because I read someone say if it isn't listed then it's probably not anything. Is this true? Thanks again

Abe's ear has taken a couple of hits on your coin, but otherwise looks fairly normal to me.

I see what you are talking about but it's just PMD.

Not a doubled ear.

Not true. The first find has to be found at some point.

Seeing the ear as "a hit" I appreciate all opinions but can't wrap my head around how that was determined. Late stage was what I was thinking too but never heard of PMD with the same die markers as a DDO. Obverse and reverse. and isolated to the ear. There is a, idk, letter D on the tip of Lincoln's nose I'm still trying to figure out. Thanks everyone. -
