There is heavy die polish, radial lines, etc. But...the doubling on the eye is pretty amazing and thought you'd like to see an interesting coin.

These are not die polish lines but die flow lines. Your coin is a VLDS (Very Late Die State).

I do not think it is a doubled eye. I will wait for a pro or two to chime in though.

The die markers are west and SW I didn't include because my cell phone camera struggles with shiny. Like my message said, there are radial die stage lines and it has heavy die polish. The second eye itself doesn't have soft lines you see in late die stage doubling. This is to clarify only. Sorry, I'm not arguing for the nickel to be a doubled die and appreciate comments. I've been collecting coins for over 30 years and sharing an interesting coin with fellow collectors.

Thank you for your comments.

What attribution number do you give it? Wexler or Variety Vista?

Incuse marks on raised devices are damage. Raised devices on the fields are die flow. So you have a little bit of both, but not a plus for a premium for the coin.
