Found this 1992 d penny that appears to have an error like AN OMM. I thought it was not possible in this year?.

More than likely it is a plating issue, blister, or PMD.

It looks like there is an incuse area extending from beside the date down almost to the point of the bust in the last two images.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Plating issue. Omm's stopped in 1955.

Also Mintmark punchings ended in 1990. The mintmark is part of the design since then. So it is not a mintmark punch issue.

I agree with John1 and coop as above. What you have is a plating issue, plus the mintmark looks as if it took a hit. PMD.
