I know the 1943P Jefferson nickel has the 3 over 2, but I'm unaware of the 1943D having a date variety or error. Any ideas as to what might be happening with the date on this coin?

Looks like something on the coin or a stain/tarnish on that area. (this is a silver content coin and will tarnish)
