Just found one of these in my daughter's change. Took it out and replaced it with real money for her. Then showed her how to spot the fake.

So is there a simple tell on this?

The main tell is the Polar Bear's paw. Left is normal and right is fake "camel toe".

Yes Enyaw is right , the camel toe is easy to spot. There is usually a very mottled surface too.

I haven't found any of the fakes, but I wouldnt even be mad to get one. I would just label in in collection as a fake and have it to compare. I would collect it not spend it.

Where do you collectors find these? Just to have 1. I really would love to get a dollard because it it so bad of a job, and 6 years before the design was ever made.

In Canada we find them in circulation when roll hunting or pocket change. How close to the boarder are you?
